This annoying bug which cripples brochure/folio/booklet printing in Debbie and
Ian's OpenOffice persists. I believe the culprit might be this patch in the

Yes, since Debian uses the Ximian patches, our predicament seems to be
Ximian/Suse/Novell's fault. See:

The bug still exists in the latest OOo package. There are no work arounds. It
has been reported and fixed in Ubuntu Dapper and upstream OOo. The severity
should be upgraded as it is a malfunction of a

OOo's printer options dialogue does not include an option for setting
the orientation. This means that (among other things) the brochure
printing feature does not work properly - printing two A6-size pages at
