Package: tinyca Version: 0.7.2-1 Followup-For: Bug #354386
I also have this problem, and it occurs when one changes the nsCertType of the CA Certificate. It is not even necessary to set another value than the default. Opening the box and clicking in it leads to the problem. When generating the openssl.conf file, tinyca then writes "emailcopy" as the value to the nsCertType instead of the real value. By the way, the error message of tinyca isn't very helpful. When the openssl.conf is invalid and openssl fails to generate the certificate, this should be mentioned in the error message. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (200, 'testing'), (20, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-k7 Locale: LANG=POSIX, [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages tinyca depends on: ii libgtk2-perl 1:1.121-1 Perl interface to the 2.x series o ii liblocale-gettext-perl 1.05-1 Using libc functions for internati ii openssl 0.9.8b-2 Secure Socket Layer (SSL) binary a Versions of packages tinyca recommends: ii zip 2.31-3 Archiver for .zip files -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
