Package: file Version: 4.15-2 Severity: wishlist In testing something else, I noticed that file -i returned text/plain for a CSV file rather than text/csv. file also identifies it as ASCII text.
This isn't breaking anything for me personally and isn't a high priority, but it might be useful for automated file handling to recognize CSV files. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) Versions of packages file depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libmagic1 4.15-2 File type determination library us ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-9 compression library - runtime file recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
