Package: mail-notification Version: 3.0.dfsg.1-1 Severity: important After latest release you are no longer able to specify command for starting mail reader. The new upstream uses the URL handler for mailto specified in GConf but this is wrong since the mailto handler is suppossed to be used to open the mail reader with a new message. This means that the handler, in case you are using balsa, looks like this: balsa -m %s. Therefore activating the mail reader false since mail-notification is not trying to open a new message but instead are suppose to open the mail reader for reading new mails.
