I've written why it's bad. By this decision, you are breaking important
usage scenario, effectively making
great :-)
so i can hope i've not to build my own xen-pae kernels when etch will be
stable.

Currently, debian does not provide any xen kernel with pae enabled.
This forces to use xen hypervisor without pae support, which in turn makes
it impossible to use more than 3.5G of system RAM.
