Any attempt to add the tsclient applet to a Gnome panel results in the
following error spewed into ~/.xsession-errors:

I've tried this on two different systems. If I revert to the version of
tsclient in stable I am able to add the applet to the panel. However
upon the first login after upgrading to the current version I am
prompted with a GUI error dialog that states:
The panel encountered a problem while loading
OAFIID:GNOME_TSClientApplet.
Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration?
The options are Don't Delete and Delete.
It should probably also be noted that the applet does not have an icon
in the Add to panel list displayed after selecting Add to panel...
from the panel right-click menu.
