Bug#406390: libhal-storage calls dbus_connection_close() instead of dbus_connection_unref()
Could you provide your kernel information (uname -a) and hal and dbus versions (dpkg -l libhal\* libdbus\*)? In future reports, please use reportbug to have this information added automatically. Sure: libhal-storage 0.5.8.1-4 libhal10.5.8.1-4 Kernel 2.6.18-3-686 Thanks for the indication on reportbug, I didn't know it. Bug#406390: libhal-storage calls dbus_connection_close() instead of dbus_connection_unref()
Package: nautilus Version: 2.14.3-7 I clicked on the icon of a mp3-Player in nautilus and obtained the following error message: libhal-storage.c 1401 : info: called libhal_free_dbus_error but dbuserror was not set. process 7305: applications must not close shared connections - see dbus_connection_close() docs. this is a bug in the application. fehler: verzeichnis /dev/sdf1 existiert nicht fehler: konnte pmount nicht ausführen Mounting manually works fine, so I supposed it to be a nautilus bug, though I'm not sure it is. By the way: the folder (? nor a file) /dev/sdf1 effectively doesn't exist (I guess you understand the messages folder /dev/sdf1 doesn't exist and couldn't execute pmount). The device he should try to mount is /dev/sde1. Regards, Stefan Witzel -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

reassign 406390 libhal-storage1 thanks Le mercredi 10 janvier 2007 à 21:12 +0100, Stefan Witzel a écrit : Package: nautilus Version: 2.14.3-7 I clicked on the icon of a mp3-Player in nautilus and obtained the following error message: libhal-storage.c 1401 : info: called libhal_free_dbus_error but dbuserror was not set. process 7305: applications must not close shared connections - see dbus_connection_close() docs. this is a bug in the application. fehler: verzeichnis /dev/sdf1 existiert nicht fehler: konnte pmount nicht ausführen Mounting manually works fine, so I supposed it to be a nautilus bug, though I'm not sure it is. I doubt this is related to nautilus (but please reassign if this turns out to be the case).
