Bug#409479: ppp: [INTL:da] Updated Danish debconf translation

2007-02-04 Thread Christian Perrier
I am not sure how what repo is Marco using, but if anyone cares i have
been keeping track of ppp's changes (and sybcing with releases) in
darcs. A copy of my repo is available and can be browsed[1] with a
regular browser or cloned/branched/got via darcs:

 darcs get --set-scripts-executable
 http://users.alioth.debian.org/~eddyp-guest/darcs/ppp/

OK. Given the recent answer by Marco, I think we can go for a short
call for translations with a deadline like Feb 8th 23:59 if the call
is posted today.

Eddy, would you mind posting it ?

I think that you can do both a call for updates:

podebconf-report-po --summary --deadline=Feb 8th 23:59 UTC

And a call for new translations:

podebconf-report-po --call --deadline=Feb 8th 23:59 UTC

Unfortunately you have missed the deadline and the package was released
into Sid, so this will have to be added in a subsequent release (not
sure *if* that will happen, but you could ask Christian Perrirer to do a
l10n NMU in order to add your ranslation and maybe other eventual
translations).

I think the best way would be to make another call for translation
updates on Debian I18N and after that make another upload.

What is 99% sure is that no code changes will be made until the release
of Etch (unless that happens too far from now or some nasty bugs are found).

Well, given that Marco is pretty active maintaining ppp, I doubt I
would need an NMU.

Doing another call for updates is definitely a good idea.

Marco, if listening, if we post such call for updates, it's pretty
likely that many more translation updates would come in. So, it would
help, including you, if one of the i18n people could get access to the
repository you're using (if you're using one..:-)).

Well, given that Marco is pretty active maintaining ppp, I doubt I

The last two ppp uploads were basically NMUs (2.4.4rel-5 was done as a
maintainer upload as he agreed to add myself as uploader).

I think the best way would be to make another call for translation
updates on Debian I18N and after that make another upload.

I have not been very active in the last few months, and an upload by
somebody else would be highly appreciated.
No repositories here, they do not work well with DBS-like build systems.
