Thank you for your reply.

I now understand how to behave Iceape composer so far,
but I am afraid that it will be a problem for many people,
after a public release of 4.0 Etch.
Because CANON: a major consumer supplier of digital camera
equipments adopt *.JPG as its default image format
instead of *.jpg.

Best regards.

Bug#413490: Iceape Composer can NOT recognize *.JPG as images.

Package: iceape-browser
Version: 1.0.7-3
Severity: normal

Iceape Composer can NOT recognize *.JPG files
as images in a default setting.
When I insert foo.JPG by a [Choose file] button
from Menu Insert Location.

Of course, it is available by choosing
[All files] from a list.

This is an issue with the gtk file chooser that can be worked around in
iceape. I got in touch with someone @ gnome who talked about case
(in)sensitivity in the file chooser, and will decide what to do based on
his answer.
