Package: electricsheep
Version: 2.6.8-6
Severity: normal
When electricsheep was installed on my system, it placed the
electricsheep.desktop file for gnome-screensaver in the
/usr/share/gnome-screensaver/themes directory. However, electricsheep
did not appear in the gnome-screensaver preferences as an option. I ran
pkg-config --variable themesdir gnome-screensaver and found that my
theme directory was /usr/share/applications/screensavers. Upon copying
the electricsheep.desktop file to /usr/share/applications/screensavers,
and rebooting the system, electricsheep appeared as an option in
gnome-screensaver.
Is it possible for apt to check what the themesdir is for a system and
then place the .desktop file there?
Also, I noticed that the installer placed a .desktop file in my
/usr/share/control-center/Desktop folder. Should there be an electric
sheep item in the Gnome control center?
