Package: offlineimap Version: 4.0.16 Severity: normal Hello,
Thank you for offlineimap! I've finally managed to play with powertop and it turns out offlineimap is one of the top causes of wakeups in my system: Top causes for wakeups: 52,6% (186,4) <interrupt> : extra timer interrupt 7,3% ( 26,0) offlineimap : schedule_timeout (process_timeout) offlineimap is sleeping during collection of those statistics. At first I realised it was because of the blinkenlight interface needing to update the countdowns. But then I switched the interface to Noninteractive.Basic, and I still get the wakeups. I guess the wait is not implemented with a big sleep but with many 1-second sleeps, which however could turn out to be a power hit.
