This confusion has also been reported in Ubuntu: http://launchpad.net/bugs/579724
It was suggested that the package name be changed, but thats not really a great way to solve it. I was thinking it would actually be pretty cool if this program set its own wrapper to /usr/bin/googleearth and /usr/share/applications/googleearth.desktop On running it, use dialog to pop up and ask the user if they want to download and install google earth now, then do it, and have the generated package replace this alternative with itself. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
