It's related to debconf, in my case with KDE frontend. See #443753

Same simptoms on upgrade from 2.6.1-2 to 2.6.1-3. (same arch and kernel)
After removing libc6-i686, upgrade worked. However, on upgrade to
2.6.1-4 postinst segfault again.
The interesting part is that right now, anything higher than 2.6.1-2
segfaults (3-5), always at /usr/share/debconf/frontend,
