Package: nxml-mode Version: 20041004-7 Severity: important You reproduce this bug this way:
1) Download this HTML-file: http://iki.fi/juhtolv/mswordmail.html or this: http://iki.fi/juhtolv/pelle.html 2) Open it with GNU Emacs. nXML-mode should be the major mode. 3) Check out, how text between <pre> -tags is not indented. 4) Paint whole buffer with key: Ctrl-x h 5) Give line-command called indent-region. 6) See, how everything between <pre> -tags became indented although it is not supposed to. Maybe this should be configurable option. Normal Tab-key pressing in the beginning of some line between <pre>-tags should cause some kind of indentation according to Tabs-vs-Spaces-settings. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (1100, 'testing'), (990, 'stable'), (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'proposed-updates'), (101, 'testing'), (99, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-3-k7 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=fi_FI.utf8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages nxml-mode depends on: ii emacs22-gtk [emacs22] 22.1+1-2 The GNU Emacs editor (with GTK use ii emacsen-common 1.4.17 Common facilities for all emacsen nxml-mode recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- Juhapekka "naula" Tolvanen * http colon slash slash iki dot fi slash juhtolv "S teki.
