Additional info to the previous message in the BTS.
At every attempt to browse the smb share, I received an e-mail message
similar to this:

The Samba 'panic action' script, /usr/share/samba/panic-action,
was called for PID 13622 ().
This means there was a problem with the program,

The previous security update (3.0.24-6etch4) does not have this problem,
so this is probably a regression introduced by the latest security
patch.
The smbmount is successful as before. A simple attempt to list the
mounted directory gives the following
