i am a student of National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences,
Lahore, Pakistan
i am doing my MS in computer sciences and studying the course of Advanced
operating system. as a semester project i am willing to take the debian bug

been given 3*
i want to work on this bug and fix it.
so i humbly request that please be kind enough to assign me this bug

 so i humbly request that please be kind enough to assign me this bug
 officially so that i be able to work on it.

We normally don't assigns bug officially. When a person has interest in
fixing one particular bug, they send a mail to the bug saying I'm going
to work on this; and later on, when they have a fix, they send it as a
patch to the bug address and add the patch tag.

Good luck with fixing the bug!
