Bug#464975: plone3-site: Upgrading to 3.0.5-2 breaks plone cmf

In the Zope management interface it lists my Plone folders by name with the following text in parethesis afterwords This object from the CMFPlone product is broken! When I click on the broken objects it loads a page with the following text: This object is broken because the CMFPlone product that created it is no longer installed or is installed incorrectly. Can you please send me the output of find /var/lib/zope2.10/plone3-site? Could their be some old config files hanging around that caused this confusion and also relate to this bug? Are you using the plone3-site instance or an hand-made one? Bug#464975: plone3-site: Upgrading to 3.0.5-2 breaks plone cmf
Hello, * 2008-02-10 16:57, Soren Stoutner wrote: I'm using the plone3-site instance, created by older versions of plone 2. Everything was under /var/lib/zope2.10/instance/plone-site. I moved it all to /var/lib/zope2.10/plone3-site and updated /etc/zope2.10/zope.conf but I still get the same error. plone-site (plone 2.5.x serie) was using zope2.9, so I suppose you moved everything from /var/lib/zope2.9/instance/plone-site, is it correct? Anyway, could you please send my the tar.gz of /var/lib/zope2.10/instance/plone3-site (without the Data.fs*, of course) so I can inspect it? Package: plone3-site Version: 3.0.5-2 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable Upgrading a Debian testing box to 3.0.5-2 from 3.0.5-1 (I believe) on my AMD64 box broke the Plone CMF. When I try to add a new Plone site it isn't in the list of available objects. It is probably unrelated to this bug, but I noticed the reportbug autodetected some of my Zope configuration information incorrectly below. I am actually running on port 8081. I get no response when trying to connect to localhost:8082. I previously had versions of Zope running on this port, but currently only 2.10 is installed and it is running on 8081.
