But you have to fix that in the i386 package and make it so that it
still works on normal i386. ia32-libs does not compile any sources and
can't change any of the compile time options.

Changing environment variable is also not an option as that would be
against policy. Although, if DRI_DRIVER_SEARCH_DIR is an env var, then
it can be mentioned in the readme and users can set it as needed.

So is it an env var or compile option?
