Don't be ridiculous. This a real, silly bug in the package. What
happens as/when/if a user tries to build this package using a machine
 with a common name?

For the record, the l10n NMU I am preparing (but Jörg may prefer
uploading himself) includes a fix for that bug (simply removing the
silly test).

Excellent, thanks. I was going to NMU myself today, but I'll leave it
to you if you're doing it already.

Please note that my l10n NMUs have a quite long schedule so don't be
surprised if the bug is not fix in the very next days. Anyway, the bug
was recently downgraded to minor (which is IMHO debatable).

Also, I suspect that Jörg Sommer could upload himself as I already write.

It's actually quite entertaining to watch ag129 prop his foot up on
the desk so he can get a better aim. [ seen in ucam.chat ]

Getting a SCSI chain working is perfectly simple if you remember that there
must be exactly three terminations: one on one end of the cable, one on the
far end, and the goat, terminated over the SCSI chain with a silver-handled
knife whilst burning *black* candles. --- Anthony DeBoer

Nothing happens as it uses hostname -f to check for the name. If
hostname -f is in the source, there's something really fucked.
