Package: apt-file Version: 2.1.0 Severity: minor is_cache_empty now checks for the "-z"-ness of /var/cache/apt/apt-file. I have a dir here which just has a leftover _tmp file from an aborted download, but this makes the test succeed. It would be nice if the test would check if there's at least one .gz in it, or something other valid, or exclude _tmp files from the check.
Don't have the time to fix this now so filing for someone else or to fix myself later. Thijs
