Package: lftp Version: 3.7.0-1 Severity: normal Upgrading from lftp 3.5.6-1 -> 3.7.0-1 (i.e. a current etch->lenny upgrade) lftp fails at the postrm script because the postrm script does /usr/bin/update-alternatives --auto ftp and this fails with No alternatives for ftp. There is no replacement script in the new package to fix this so the upgrade fails.
I think something is needed in the new package to paper over this issue, which I guess will affect quite a lot of users? -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-xen-vserver-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages lftp depends on: ii libc6 2.7-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.3.0-3 GCC support library ii libgcrypt11 1.4.0-3 LGPL Crypto library - runtime libr ii libgnutls26 2.2.2-1 the GNU TLS library - runtime libr ii libgpg-error0 1.4-2 library for common error values an ii libncurses5 5.6+20080308-1 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libreadline5 5.2-3 GNU readline and history libraries ii libtasn1-3 1.3-1 Manage ASN.1 structures (runtime) ii netbase 4.32 Basic TCP/IP networking system ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-12 compression library - runtime lftp recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
