Package: reportbug Version: 3.39-0.1 Severity: wishlist In many cases, I need to report bugs about a package that is actually being built at that time. If reportbug checked for debian/changelog, it could get the package name from that file without needing to specify it again on the command line.
In this mode, reportbug could offer to include more useful information like: $ tail -20 ../$package_$version_$arch.build if the build log ends with "dpkg-buildpackage: failure" etc. Maybe reportbug could also set FTBFS in the bug report in this mode too. (It would be nice for reportbug to ask before including ~/.reportbugrc too.) -- Package-specific info: ** Environment settings: EDITOR="vim" DEBEMAIL="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" DEBFULLNAME="Neil Williams" INTERFACE="urwid" -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.25-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages reportbug depends on: ii apt 0.7.13 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii python 2.5.2-1 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-central 0.6.6 register and build utility for Pyt reportbug recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
