Package: e2fsprogs Version: 1.40.8-2 Severity: minor
there is wrong description in -s option in debugfs manpage. default for -s is described as 1. but this is not true. ext2fs_open() docs describes it following way: "The superblock parameter specifies the block number of the superblock which should be used when opening the filesystem. If superblock is zero, ext2fs_open will use the primary superblock located at offset 1024 bytes from the start of the filesystem image." which produces different behavior from debugfs manpage description, when -b is not set to 1024. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.24-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages e2fsprogs depends on: ii e2fslibs 1.40.8-2 ext2 filesystem libraries ii libblkid1 1.40.8-2 block device id library ii libc6 2.7-10 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcomerr2 1.40.8-2 common error description library ii libss2 1.40.8-2 command-line interface parsing lib ii libuuid1 1.40.8-2 universally unique id library e2fsprogs recommends no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
