Similar symptom here. The first time I launch finch, it quits with
"Illegal instructions", and from the second time it just segfaults.
Installing pidgin-dbg and gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-dbg still doesn't
give a reasonable bac

Some symbols are missing unfortunately,... I'm quite busy atm,.. if
you should need them,.. please ask, and I'll create it manually
(with all symbols)...

Yes, install debug packages for libc, glib, libxm

I upgraded gstreamer-plugins-bad with the new liblrdf, and it solves the issue
with totem, but I'am still unable to launch pidgin. In a terminal, it says
only "Opération non permise" (meaning operation not permitted) a
