Package: ohcount Version: 2.0.1-1 Severity: normal Hi,
On my environment where custom ruby binary is installed in /usr/local/bin, ohcount fails with: /usr/bin/ohcount:9:in `require': no such file to load -- ohcount (LoadError) from /usr/bin/ohcount:9:in `rescue in <main>' from /usr/bin/ohcount:2:in `<main>' This is because /usr/bin/ohcount uses "#!/usr/bin/env ruby" trick. There are similar bugs in Debian (#344246, #344988, #416775, etc), and they seem to have been resolved by simply replacing it with "#!/usr/bin/ruby1.8". -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ja_JP.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages ohcount depends on: ii libc6 2.9-25 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdifflcs-ruby 1.1.2-1 An implementation of the McIlroy-H ii libruby1.8 1.8.7.174-2 Libraries necessary to run Ruby 1. ii ruby 4.2 An interpreter of object-oriented ii ruby1.8 1.8.7.174-2 Interpreter of object-oriented scr ohcount recommends no packages. ohcount suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- Daiki Ueno -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
