First my own account didn't work, but after I removed the directories ~/.aqbanking ~/.gnucash and ~/.gconf/apps/gnucash it did work again too. Thank you for your help. You can close this bug now. Bug#545894: gnucash: No import with HBCI anymore
Hallo, just to give you some more information. I did create a new user (with a clean/new environment) on my system and started GnuCash on a new file. I imported the data from the chipcard, created accounts and made the mapping between them. I had the same problems importing transactions or a balance in this clean environment. There was no response to those menu commands. This means there is something wrong with the software or some global configuration data. I have reverted to GnuCash 2.2.6-3 (and had to install the packages libaqbanking20) and now I can import the transactions from the bank again. This version does work. Please give me some hints how I can help you to solve this problem. Regards, Vincent -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? This worked with 2.2.6. I can get a connection to my bank from the AqBanking wizard and get the currect list of accounts. The online accounts are also matched with the GnuCash accounts. So far all OK. I guess you did start the AqBanking wizard from within Gnucash. Right? Yes, right. Did you need to setup your online accounts again after doing the upgrade? I had to reimport the user from the chipcard. I have two accounts with that bank. One mapping was still set, but the other one was unset. I have reassigned them both. If yes: Maybe something went wrong with the configuration and the mapping from Gnucash accounts to AqBanking online accounts. In this case please report back and I'll look for proper configuration upgrade instructions. I did move the directories ~/.aqbanking, ~/.gnucash and my GnuCash-file out of the way. Then I created a new GnuCash file and imported the user and accounts from the chipcard again. I still couldn't import any transactions or balance from my bank. Are there any more stettings that I will have to reset? Thanks, Vincent

Hi Daniel, her...@luftgetrock.net wrote: since I have no clue how the unusual Debian Bugtracking works (I know, I should figure it out soon), here's some info regarding bug #545894 gnucash: No import with HBCI anymore: Thank you for your additional feedback. New bug reports are created best by reportbug (from package reportbug). Usually you simply send a copy of your mail to n...@bugs.debian.org (with NNN being the bug number you want to comment on) for adding a comment. I added the CC to 545...@bugs.debian.org to this reply to add the content of this message to the bug tracker. Please keep the CC intact in any reply in order to let the bug tracker keep track on what's the current state. I created a completely new user. Started GnuCash, then the AqBanking wizard, which told me to install the libchipcard-libgwenhywfar47-plugins After doing so, I fixed some /dev permissions, restarted the chipcardd4, checked it with cardcommander and chipcard-tool to make sure it works, fired up gnucash and the wizard again, all went fine as expected, up until i wanted to actually import/transfer something, where simply nothing happened. I had the same error as in the bug, so I created the following symlinks in /usr/lib/aqbanking/plugins/29/providers ln -s aqhbci.so aqhbci ln -s aqnone.so aqnone ln -s aqofxconnect.so aqofxconnect The error messages about the non-existent plugins can safely be ignored. The plugins get properly loaded (watch out for the lines with .so appended to the plugin name). restarted gnucash, still didnt work, so I checked the /tmp/gnucash.trace and found the message * 04:41:19 MESSG gnc.module Could not locate optional module gnucash/import-export/hbci interface v.0 which seems to indicate you forgot the proper compile time options when building it this time? No. At least the source tree uses the module import-export/aqbanking instead of the old import-export/hbci now. I get this message from gnc.module with my installation too, but I don't suffer from this bug. Hence I believe this message is completely unrelated to this bug. Please ask me for anything you might need, so you can fix it asap :-) Thanks, I'll do my best. Shall I CC you in further messages concering this bug? Regards Micha Hallo Micha, Yes, the package libchipcard-libgwenhywfar47-plugins got deinstalled with my update. As I started GnuCash, I got an dialog box saying that this plugin was missing, so I reinstalled it. After that I restarted GnuCash, but then I got the above described problem. I can start the online actions, but nothing happends. GnuCash isn't communicating with my chipcard (and the bank). As I already said, the wizard to import the accounts from my chipcard and bank is working from GnuCash. Is there any logfile that I can send you to analyse this problem? Tell me how to create the log file you want. Regards, Vincent -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble?
