Package: mpd Version: 0.15.4-1 Severity: normal If pulseaudio output is used for mpd, mpd starts a pulseaudio daemon on startup. Now users can't play sound through pulseaudio.
The solution is to run pulseaudio as a system-wide daemon and add mpd to the group pulse-access. But the pulseaudio documentation advises against running it as a system-wide daemon, so this probably shouldn't be the default for the pulseaudio package. For lack of a real solution - at least I don't see one - this problem should at least be documented in the README.Debian and a hint added to the comments regarding pulseaudio output in mpd.conf.
