Package: ghc6
Version: 6.10.4-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Hi,
i am beginning to work with haskell and i needed a compiler, so i just

aptitude install ghc

and it provided the ghci command line interactive interpreter, which, when run:

uov...@flatline:~$ ghci
GHCi, version 6.10.4: http://www.haskell.org/ghc/ :? for help
Loading package ghc-prim ... linking ... done.
Loading package integer ... linking ... done.
Loading package base ... linking ... done.
Segmentation fault
uov...@flatline:~$

causes a segmentation fault...
I tried writing a short haskell program and it works if i use ghc directly.
I also noticed that the one that segfaults seems to be ghc itself:

flatline kernel: ghc[7063] segfault at 0 ip 08b9c87b sp bfb7c23c error 4 in
ghc[8048000+c5b000]

At this point, i don't know where to look. Thanks for the time, should any
other new information be needed, let me know.
regards
