i've already had the change to python-support in my vcs (along with the
change to the new source format), just didn't push testing it until this
bug was opened.
the changes go further than the patch supplied: now the package lets
debhelper 7 rules automation do all the work (with a small
tags 566037 + patch

I've prepared an NMU for arandr (versioned as 0.1.2-2.1) but did not upload
it yet (the bug is only important).
