All I know is that gkrellm ends up on what a .icewm/preferences file WorkspaceNames = 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 would call WorkspaceNames 2. ST I can't replicate it. I tried with a brand new user, and gkrellm shows
ST up just fine. try to run it with -d values as reported with --help.

Which doesn't say much. Probably my problems are due to running it this

I'd try also sensors, timer and net.
