Hey :)

This is not actually replicated in Ubuntu. I dont recall having this problem
with Jaunty, Karmic and now Lucid.

On my Debian testing workstation ... I do.

 Maybe its Debian specific.

The reason the bug doesn't appear in Ubuntu is because a patch has
been included following the thread I mentioned earlier [1].

Mike, I am thinking of applying this patch [2] to the 0.71a version.
Do you have any objections?

Cheers,
 Ignace M

If you have a branch for me to pull (from LP or elsewhere), let me know
and I will test and merge this evening and can release 0.71b so that it
can be packaged for Debian if desired.

Hey Mike,

Thank you for your quick response.

I have uploaded a new bzr branch on LP [1] and will request a merge as
soon as it is done updating the branch.

Tell me if this works fine for you.

Cheers,
 Ignace M

Thank you for taking an interest.

In my initially email, I did try and word it correctly and be less
abstractive, as I can imagine how silly it may sound.

Basically what I do is. Start Thunderbird, then I start alltray. I get
prompted with the box and message in the centre of the screen saying Please
click on the window you would like to dock and with it a cross hair.

I click the cross hair on numerous places on Thunderbird (its the same for
any application really), even the top title bar. Nothing happens or is
 minimised.

 Hope I make sense.

 Kind Regards
 Brent Clark

Hello Brent,

After checking on upstream's BTS, I found that a bug was opened some
month ago [1] describing the same issue you reported.

I am putting upstream in the loop. :)

Micheal, do you know what is the status of this bug in the 0.71a
version of alltray?

Cheers,
 Ignace M
