Bug#587732: protobuf should B-D on default-jdk
Since openjdk-6-jdk was available before on those arches, I hoped it will come back. Do you think it won't? It wasn't available, protobuf was built in those archs because you had openjdk-6-jdk in Build-Depends-Indep instead of Build-Depends Cheers, Giuseppe. signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

Package: protobuf Version: 2.3.0-2 Severity: serious Hello, the current version of protobuf could not be build on some architectures (namely hppa, hurd and kfreebsd-*) because you build depend on openjdk-6-jdk, instead you should b-d on default-jdk. -- /* Mit freundlichem Gruß / With kind regards, Patrick Matthäi GNU/Linux Debian Developer E-Mail: pmatth...@debian.org patr...@linux-dev.org Comment: Always if we think we are right, we were maybe wrong. */ signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

Hi Just a reminder: you should remember to update JAVA_HOME in debian/ant-wrapper to point to /usr/lib/jvm/default-java as well. ~Niels signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

Hmm, I see that depends on those architectures on gcj-jdk. I'll have to see if the java bindings actually work with that jdk (I know it didn't work with, for example, the 5 version of sun's jdk). Since openjdk-6-jdk was available before on those arches, I hoped it will come back. Do you think it won't?
