That might be the same issue (#588563) I've reported two days ago.

 The source package was simply missing in the Sources file from 
 unstable.

But, he closed the bug w/o changing the code to use a different mirror
and mirrors didn't fix the faulty mirror yet.
So, the issue remains :/

the PTS shows randomically chromium-browser as not part of any Debian 
distribution:

This package is not part of any Debian distribution. Thus you won't find much
information here. The package is either very new and hasn't appeared on mirrors
yet, or it's an old package that eventually got removed. The old news are kept
for historic purpose only.
