For the record: I confirm this is the case. It has all been published
in Alioth's Git which we should move to Salsa. I am not sure whether
we should create a separate project or put it all together into one
(e.g. https://salsa.debian.org/debian/ddp). As the move of all DDP
from SVN to GIT might require some work it is possible I will move
first the GIT repository created by Marcos to Salsa and take it from
there.

Best regards

Javier

OK, could you give me access?

BTW, is there any plan to create a ddp group?

No, i talked with Javi on IRC a year ago. He told me to work on *.po
files (i already had done the migration to git and to xml at that time).

The simplest build system i found was the debian-handbook so i re-used
its Publican based system.

Greetings,
Marcos

We need to move to salsa (debian group), I think.

I mean in https://salsa.debian.org/debian

like https://salsa.debian.org/debian/debian-reference

This way, all DD has access.

Bug#613000: Convert Hardening Debian to XML

2018-05-05 Thread Marcos Fouces
Hello

I already done the following work so far and uploaded to the repo [1]:

* Imported SVN repo to git.

* Migrated debiandoc sgml to Docbook XML. In order to test it, i
slightly adapted the debian-handbook build apparatus moslty due to its
simplicity.

* Merged german an french *.po files with latest version of original text.

* Used po4a-gettextize in order to get every translated string in the
rest of available languages (spanish, italian, japanese,  chinese,
portuguese).

All languages have at least 30% translated strings.

Hope that helps to maintain this good manual.

Greetings.

Marcos

Please coordinate how exactly push this through. Javi is the maintainer
of FAQ.

Please check with:

I just added you but please discuss with javi how exactly you start
committing.

Bug#613000: Convert Hardening Debian to XML

2017-04-16 Thread Marcos Fouces

Hello

I would be glad to (try my best to) convert this book to XML. I have a
personal interest in it because (time ago) i learn a lot from it.

I already did a clean and complete (hopefully...) of its SVN repo to git
and asked for write access on alioth ddp repo.

Greetings,

Marcos
