Package: python-playerc
Version: 3.0.2+dfsg-2
Severity: grave
User: debian-pyt...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: python2.6
Justification: renders package unusable

python-playerc modules are shipped in /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/:

$ dpkg -L python-playerc | grep site-packages/
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/playerc.py
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/_playerc.so

This directory is not in python2.6's search path, so they cannot normally be imported. python-central, which you build-depend on, would most likely move the modules into the correct location, but it is never called in debian/rules. (dh_pycentral call used to be there in 2.0.4-3, but it disappeared without any mention in d/changelog.)
