The command "/etc/init.d/forked-daapd restart" stops the daemon but then fails with exit code 1. This seems to be a timing problem, adding "sleep 3" in betweed "start-stop-daemon --stop ..." and "start-stop-daemon --start" solves the problem -- kind of ;-) In addition, "/etc/init.d/forked-daapd restart" fails (and doesn't restart the daemon) if it has not been running bevore (missing "--oknodo", I think).
