I am not a Debian user but a Clonezilla one. I use an USB to RJ45 adapter (Trendnet TU2-ET100) to connect a laptop to my local network. This adapter uses the asix kernel module. Depending on the kernel version I use, I can connect or not the laptop to the network. Kernel 2.6.29 works fine. Kernel 2.6.30 works fine. Kernel 2.6.33.7 works fine Kernel 2.6.38.7 and higher does not work. I tried with the following Clonezilla/Debian versions : Debian-live-6.0.1 : works fine. Clonezilla 1.2.2-14 : works fine.
