* MÃguel [110919 17:08 +]: I've completely removed alsa-utils (and his configuration files) from synaptic, and then I've restarted the system. No changes, same distortion on 44100 Hz content. So I decided to convert an mp3 file to wav and test if aplay does the same distortion. It doesn't. But even gnome-player, that plays the mp3 file with distorsion noises, plays cleanly the converted wav file. So, it's a problem with some recently updated codec. Bug closed herewith. I can play 48000 Hz flac music without distortions, but 44100 Hz content generates distortion on the higher frequencies of sound. It didn't happed before the packge upgrade.
