I'm sorry; I wasn't able to discern what you thought the problem was.
Nothing in the output you sent looked peculiar to me.

I know version 1.48.0.2 suffered from bug #666239, which is now fixed.
So the problem may be gone.  I'd appreciate it if you could re-try and
let me know if the problem still exists.

Apparently, current package in sid cannot be dist-upgraded without pre-removing 
another package.
That should be fixed to allow a smooth dist-upgrade instead, IMHO. That could
be due to defects in default package boost-default.
