Bug#673004: does not connect to HP iLO 2

thanks

This bug is from 2012. I'm not sure what the problem was at the time,
but by now any such old HP iLO device identifying as version
"mpSSH_0.1.0" is unlikely to support a set of ciphers/Kex/MACs/etc to
allow a recent version of openssh in debian to be able to connect to it,
even with work-arounds. The world has moved on.

If you are on a current version of debian and encounter problems
connecting to such a device, first ensure that your devices firmware is
the latest version and then open a new bug with detailed debugging info
(and know that the answer still might be "sorry, the manufacturer
stopped updating it and we can't support connecting to it").

Good luck,

I can confirm that adding -oHostKeyAlgorithms=ssh-rsa works (for me)

I hat to unset LANG, too, e.g.:

  unset LANG; ssh -oHostKeyAlgorithms=ssh-rsa Administrator@ILO-IP

if I do not unset lang I get this message (after password succesfull auth):
shell request failed on channel 0

Ciao

just fine:
