Bug#673589: gnome-online-accounts: Google account credentials expire immediately after login
Package: gnome-online-accounts Version: 3.22.5-1 Followup-For: Bug #673589 Just upgraded to Stretch. Google credentials from Jessie no longer work. GOA tells me that credentials have expired. I went and gave Google permission to allow application GNOME. Exit GOA. Upon returning to GOA, it shows that credentials have expired again. Result: the calendar app in the gnome-shell panel no longer shows my Google calendar, while Evolution cannot access GMail (but shows my Google calendar just fine). -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fi_FI.utf8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=fi_FI.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gnome-online-accounts depends on: ii libc6 2.24-11 ii libgcr-base-3-1 3.20.0-5.1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.50.3-2 ii libgoa-1.0-0b 3.22.5-1 ii libgoa-backend-1.0-1 3.22.5-1 ii libkrb5-3 1.15-1 ii librest-0.7-0 0.8.0-2 ii libsoup2.4-1 2.56.0-2 ii libwebkit2gtk-4.0-37 2.16.3-2 Versions of packages gnome-online-accounts recommends: ii dleyna-server 0.4.0-1.1 ii gnome-control-center 1:3.22.2-3 ii realmd0.16.3-1 gnome-online-accounts suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
Bug#673589: gnome-online-accounts: Google account credentials expire immediately after login
Package: gnome-online-accounts Version: 3.14.2-1 Followup-For: Bug #673589 Dear Maintainer, After upgrading to Jessie I've started seeing this problem. I couldn't use my Google account and trying to authenticate would always result in expired credentials. I've tried deleting the account and creating it again, using the Google unlock capcha page and also deleting the corresponding keyring entry. Nothing's worked here. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gnome-online-accounts depends on: ii libc6 2.19-18 ii libgcr-base-3-1 3.14.0-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.42.1-1 ii libgoa-1.0-0b 3.14.2-1 ii libgoa-backend-1.0-1 3.14.2-1 ii libkrb5-3 1.12.1+dfsg-19 ii librest-0.7-0 0.7.92-3 ii libsoup2.4-1 2.48.0-1 ii libtelepathy-glib00.24.1-1 Versions of packages gnome-online-accounts recommends: ii dleyna-server 0.4.0-1 ii gnome-control-center 1:3.14.2-3 ii realmd0.15.1-1+b2 gnome-online-accounts suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#673589: gnome-online-accounts: Google account credentials expire immediately after login
Package: gnome-online-accounts Version: 3.8.3-1 Followup-For: Bug #673589 Dear Maintainer, *** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** So my earlier info was incomplete. I found this bug #717945 in libgcr that might be related to my problem. The workaround was also from that report. The Gnome upstream had deemed this bug to be related to two factor authentication with the original reporter. My situation is not related to two factor authentication as I am not using it. Maybe a name change for this bug and another bug that links to libgcr would clear things up. *** End of the template - remove these lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.10-2-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gnome-online-accounts depends on: ii libc62.17-92 ii libgcr-base-3-1 3.8.2-4 ii libglib2.0-0 2.37.5-1 ii libgoa-1.0-0 3.8.3-1 ii libkrb5-31.11.3+dfsg-3 ii librest-0.7-00.7.12-3 ii libsoup2.4-1 2.42.2-6 Versions of packages gnome-online-accounts recommends: ii gnome-control-center 1:3.8.3-1 gnome-online-accounts suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Package: gnome-online-accounts Version: 3.4.2-1 Followup-For: Bug #673589 Dear Maintainer, It's been happening here for several days too. It's not just Google either. Package: gnome-online-accounts Version: 3.4.2-1 Severity: normal I can't login in my Google account because the credentials expire immediately.
