Bug#673589: gnome-online-accounts: Google account credentials expire immediately after login

2017-06-12 Thread Martin-Éric Racine
Package: gnome-online-accounts
Version: 3.22.5-1
Followup-For: Bug #673589

Just upgraded to Stretch. Google credentials from Jessie no longer work.

GOA tells me that credentials have expired. I went and gave Google permission
to allow application GNOME. Exit GOA. Upon returning to GOA, it shows that
credentials have expired again.

Result: the calendar app in the gnome-shell panel no longer shows my Google
calendar, while Evolution cannot access GMail (but shows my Google calendar
just fine).

Bug#673589: gnome-online-accounts: Google account credentials expire immediately after login

2015-04-28 Thread Bernat Arlandis
Package: gnome-online-accounts
Version: 3.14.2-1
Followup-For: Bug #673589

Dear Maintainer,

After upgrading to Jessie I've started seeing this problem. I couldn't
use my Google account and trying to authenticate would always result in
expired credentials.

I've tried deleting the account and creating it again, using the Google
unlock capcha page and also deleting the corresponding keyring entry.

Nothing's worked here.

Bug#673589: gnome-online-accounts: Google account credentials expire immediately after login

2013-09-12 Thread Mika Rastas
Package: gnome-online-accounts
Version: 3.8.3-1
Followup-For: Bug #673589

Dear Maintainer,
*** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

So my earlier info was incomplete. I found this bug #717945 in libgcr that
might be related to my problem. The workaround was also from that report.

The Gnome upstream had deemed this bug to be related to two factor
authentication with the original reporter. My situation is not related to two
factor authentication as I am not using it. Maybe a name change for this bug
and another bug that links to libgcr would clear things up.

Dear Maintainer,

It's been happening here for several days too. It's not just Google either. It
affected Facebook just now, but Yahoo seemed to be A-OK during this time. It
also appears to affect Gajim. Guess it uses online accounts too?

Bug#673589: gnome-online-accounts: Google account credentials expire immediately after login

2012-05-19 Thread Carmelo Migliore
Package: gnome-online-accounts
Version: 3.4.2-1
Severity: normal

I can't login in my Google account because the credentials expire immediately.
If i click the login button, Google ask me to insert my credentials and grant
permission to the gnome app. But after this, GOA still reports a credentials
expired error and all the clients that use Google account (gnome-documents,
evolution, ecc) report an authentication error.
