I also got hit by this. The user ends up with two flash plugins in the
list of plugins in iceweasel.

And this one was listed first and was thus used resulting in
non-functional flash because there's only a media player displayed
in place of the flash element.

Thus I'm bumping this to RC severity, it should really be fixed
before upload to unstable.

Ahem, I can't say I agree with the severity of this bug report.
Especially as no package is depending or recommending totem-mozilla anymore.
Just uninstall it, it's not that terribly useful anymore anyway with HTML5.

Well, it's not terribly satisfactory for people who are upgrading from
Squeeze. How will they discover that they have to remove this package to
get working Flash?

I spent like one hour to identify the culprit... and I'm not the average
user.

I think it's better to move the .so away and add the update-alternatives
registration, rather than spend the same time documenting the issue in
the release notes.
