Package: upgrade-reports

Problem:
    dist-upgrade gives "Breaks: gcc-4.4 (< 4.4.6-4) but 4.4.5-8 is to
be installed"

Environment:
    Installing from debian-6.0.5-amd64-CD-1.iso
    Virtualbox Debian64 amd64 guest on Windows7 amd64 host

Installation:
    Uses all default options
    Uses network mirror ftp.uk.debian.org
    Selected tasks:
    * Graphical desktop environment
    * Laptop
    * Standard system utilities

Steps to reproduce:

1) Change /etc/apt/sources.list:
    deb http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/ wheezy main
    deb-src http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/ wheezy main
    deb http://security.debian.org/ wheezy/updates main
    deb-src http://security.debian.org/ wheezy/updates main

2) Run apt-get update

3) Run apt-get dist-upgrade:
    root@debwheezy:~# apt-get dist-upgrade
    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
    Calculating upgrade... Failed
    The following packages have unmet dependencies:
     libc6-dev : Breaks: gcc-4.4 (< 4.4.6-4) but 4.4.5-8 is to be installed
     libgcc1 : Breaks: gcc-4.4 (< 4.4.6-4) but 4.4.5-8 is to be installed
     libgfortran3 : Breaks: gcc-4.4 (< 4.4.6-4) but 4.4.5-8 is to be installed
     libgomp1 : Breaks: gcc-4.4 (< 4.4.6-4) but 4.4.5-8 is to be installed
     libstdc++6 : Breaks: gcc-4.4 (< 4.4.6-4) but 4.4.5-8 is to be installed
    E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may
be caused by held packages.

This upgrade error can be avoided by installing build-essentials from
Squeeze before editing sources.list.

I then instead get a immediate configuration on 'default-jre' error
which will be filed in a separate report.
