package upstream. Please check the latest mail from Mike and please post
the output of the SSL check?

can you try to downgrade your libnss3 package as Giacomo has done and
reported in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=692886?
Maybe it's the same bug.
And can you make a some logs to see what happend inside icedove?

Yes, downgrading libnss3 to 2:3.13.6-1 fix the problem
with icedove 10.0.11-1 (sid).
Note that when downgrading libnss3 aptitude remove some
packages :
google-chrome-stable{a} icedtea-6-jre-cacao{a} icedtea-6-jre-jamvm{a}
icedtea-6-plugin{a} icedtea-plugin{a} libnss3:i386{a}
