Package: zope2.12 Version: 2.12.22-1~bpo60+1 Severity: normal
I have several zope2.12 instances set up. The last one (alphabetically) of these is currently not running, so the file /var/lib/zope2.12/instance/NAME/var/Z2.pid does not exist. The postrotate script defined in /etc/logrotate.d/zope2.12 checks for the existence of this file, to see if the log file should be reopened. If the last configured instance (in alphabetic order) does not have the Z2.pid file, the postrotate script exits with exit code 1 and an e-mail is sent to root: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate: error: error running shared postrotate script for '"/var/log/zope2.12/*/Z2.log" "/var/log/zope2.12/*/event.log" ' run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1 While not show-stopping, these e-mails are annoying. Note: I am running zope2.12 from backports under squeeze. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.6 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages zope2.12 depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.36.1 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.11.3-4 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii lsb-base 3.2-23.2squeeze1 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip ii python 2.6.6-3+squeeze7 interactive high-level object-orie ii python-clientform 0.2.10-2.1 module for handling HTML forms on ii python-docutils 0.7-2 utilities for the documentation of ii python-initgroups 2.13.0-1~bpo60+1 Python binding of initgroups ii python-mechanize 0.1.11-1.1 stateful programmatic web browsing ii python-pkg-resources 0.6.14-4 Package Discovery and Resource Acc ii python-support 1.0.10 automated rebuilding support for P ii python-tz 2010b-1 Python version of the Olson timezo ii python2.6 2.6.6-8+b1 An interactive high-level object-o ii zope-common 0.5.51~bpo60+1 common settings and scripts for Zo zope2.12 recommends no packages.
