Package: libapache2-mod-rpaf
Version: 0.6-7
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

On github there is a newer version of the mod_rpaf code available which
next to setting the REMOTE_ADDR to the original client IP also adds the
functionality to set the HTTPS and HTTP_PORT env vars to their respective
original settings based on headers added by the proxy.

What is the best way to get around getting this new version into Debian?
Would it be possible to "upgrade" the current package, or would it have to
be a new package? (I'd say that'd be quite inefficient, but I'm new to this
:)).

If I can help with packaging this version, I would be more than happy to do
so, with some assistance and advice when needed.
