Hi Brian,

Is there any reason for you to release a hot-fix on 2.2.1 using the same
release version?

Regards,

Sorry to be a bother, but could you fetch the release again? Looks like
 debian has 2.2.1-1, which
unfortunately needed a hotfix[*], so we released 2.2.1-2 some hours
 afterwards -- Looking at the
packaging times, debian got the old version by an hour or two. Ouch!

Convenience, really. We hadn't announced the release yet, plus the fix was
relatively small unobtrusive to the normal use of the tools. Lesson
learned; we won't be moving out of testing until the release announcement
is ready.

  Howdy. Just letting you know of the new version of Percona Toolkit;
 Thanks for your time!
  Here's the release announcement:

A new Percona Toolkit series has been released: Percona Toolkit 2.2 for
 MySQL 5.6. Several months in
the making and many new features, changes, and improvements make this a
 great new series. It
replaces the 2.1 series for which we plan to do only one more bug fix
 release (as 2.1.10) then
retire. 2.2 is largely backward-compatible with 2.1, but some tools were
 changed significantly (e.g.
  pt-query-digest, pt-upgrade, and pt-online-schema-change).
