Hey,
well at least with current version at jessie I see addressbooks for kolab
resources. At least with mykolab as server.
Please give notice if it still an issue. If yes some informations about the
server would be nice.

Update: I managed to get my IMAP Contacts by doing Add Address
Book - KDE Addressbook (traditional) - Addressbook on IMAP
Server via KMail.
