Hello I'm (still) looking for a sponsor for the Meson build system. The original RFS was in June. There were some issues raised and almost all of them were fixed then. The code base has evolved quite a lot since then so a new review is probably in order, though the packaging bits have not changed all that much. The old package had one blocker bug, which was about adding packaging support for Python3-ply generated files. The new code does not use Ply anymore so this is not an issue any more.
