Hello,
I can't reproduce the flac issue with package 3.1.1+cvs20050801-30. The tracks
are correctly encoded using the flac encoder:
francois@debian:/tmp/jack_test$ jack -E "flac"
This is jack 3.1.1 (C)2004 Arne Zellentin

Hi,
The following patch works-around the issue for me:
--- /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/jack_helpers.py.orig 2014-07-07
10:52:19.475502337 +0100
+++ /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/jack_helpers.py 2014-07-07 10:49:32.566674682
Ok, I recompiled flac with debug options and the core tells me some more..
It's clear why flac is unhappy, but not sure i know how to fix that within
jack :)
Hope this helps,

Dear Maintainer,
I am not able to encode anything with flac (the default encoder).
Ripping goes fine -- the *.wav files are generated.
In the jack output I get sth like:
